Forward: Casper Conradsson-Kelvgard, Ogden Mustangs

Conradsson-Kelvgard (‘03/Lomma, Sweden) was extremely generous during his time in Idaho Falls last week, putting up seven assists (and adding one goal) for eight points over the Mustangs’ three NCDC Frozen Futures Games. He has 21 points in 24 games here in 2023-24, his second North American season.

Defense: Teddie Hember, Ogden Mustangs

The second-year Mustang Hember (‘03/Stockholm, Sweden) scored the game-winning goal for a 5-4 win over Pueblo to close the Mustangs run at the NCDC Frozen Futures showcase in Idaho Falls at 2-1. In total, he scored three goals and added one assist for a four-point weekend. Hember was also a +1 and registered 26 takeaways. He has 18 points in 22 games this year.

Goaltender: Ryan Mitchell, Pueblo Bulls

A somewhat locally-bred player, the ‘06 Colorado Springs native put up the best single game goaltending performance at the showcase in Idaho Falls when he stopped 31 of 32 Provo Predators shots to get a win for his team, one of two for the Bulls in Idaho Falls. With that win, the former Colorado Thunderbirds AAA goalie improved to 5-4 on the season.

Rookie*: Makar Klochkov, Utah Outliers

Nicknamed “Clutch-kov” by The Dan K Show, this ‘04 from Moskva, Russia put up four goals and four assists for eight points as the Outliers swept the NCDC Frozen Futures Showcase. This included a dominating performance in scoring the regulation GWG as part of a 2-2-4 line in front of a packed Friday night house in a 5-4 win against the host Spud Kings. The longtime Anaheim Jr. Ducks AAA standout now has 25 points in 20 NCDC games.
