NCDC 2023-24 New England Division Players Of The Week

Forward: Ian Duffy, Northern Cyclones

Duffy (‘04/Chester Springs, Pa.) put up a goal and two assists to rack up three points in the team’s pair of games against the Twin City Thunder last weekend. The second-year NCDC veteran has scored 20 points in the 18 games he’s played with the Cyclones after being acquired from the Rockets Hockey Club. 

 

Defense: Jason Zaccari, South Shore Kings 

Zaccari (‘05/Santa Ana, Calif.) put up three assists as the Kings split with the Boston Junior Bruins last weekend. He was the No. 1 blueliner all around for the Kings on the weekend, leading the team in average ice time (21:25 per game), plus-minus (+4) and takeaways (25). He has 28 points in 37 games. 

 

Goaltender: Jeffrey Kreidler, Twin City Thunder 

Kreidler (‘04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) was magic for the Thunder again, going 2-0 for the Thunder against the Northern Cyclones. He stopped 87 of 91 shots for a .956 save percentage, including getting a big OT win on Feb. 8, the start of a four-game stretch for the Thunder. Kreidler has won four of his last five games and is 7-6-0-0 with a .936 save percentage. 

 

Rookie*: Bryce Terry, Northern Cyclones

Terry (‘04/Conway, N.H.) joined the Cyclones NCDC team out of their Cyclones Academy Prep 18U team last year, where he played split-season while also suiting up for St. Paul’s School in 2022-23. Recently, he put up a goal and two assists for three points against Twin City. He has 10 points in 12 Cyclones games after previously playing for the Mercer Chiefs this season.
