Jersey Hitmen 5, Rockets Hockey Club 0 

Nick Bunch (’05/Canton, Mich.) stopped all 36 shots he faced in a big win against the Hitmen’s regional rivals. Aiden Ryan (’04/Raleigh, N.C.) scored twice and assisted on one goal, and Wilson Farrow (’04/Sudbury, Ont.) assisted on three goals.

 

Northern Cyclones 6, South Shore Kings 3

The Cyclones earned an important win in a matchup of the top two New England Division teams. Jackson Dickson (’04/New Albany, Ohio) scored twice, Keenan Schneider (’04/Villanova, Pa.) scored a goal and two assists to help lead the way. Logan Abric (’04/Hayward, Wis.) made 39 saves on 43 shots to get the win in net.

 

Seacoast Spartans 3, Utica Jr. Comets. 2 (SO)

The Spartans and Jr. Comets went to the shootout and it extended to 23 rounds before it was settled by Adam Godfrey (’05/Atkinson, N.H.) Daniil Cepov (’06/Klaipeda, Lithuania) made 49 saves on 51 shots in 65 minutes and he stopped 21 of 23 shootout attempts for a heroic victory.

 

Mercer Chiefs 7, West Chester Wolves 4

The Chiefs won their ninth in a row when they beat the Wolves on Sunday. The Chiefs saw two goals and one assist scored by each of Ryan Stratton (’05/Syracuse, N.Y.) and Samuel Ciappa (’05/Baldwinsville, N.Y.) Additionally, Jake Stevens (’05/Newton, N.J.) and Justin Thibault (’08/Levis, Que.) each registered three assists. In net, Dominick Gatto (’05/St. Charles, Ill.) made 37 saves on 41 shots.

 

Thunder Hockey Club 3, Boston Jr. Rangers 2

The Thunder were down 2-1 before rebounding to capture the victory on their home ice Sunday. Recent acquisition Zachary Brady (’04/Middletown, N.J.) scored the GWG in regulation and added an assist. Goaltender Michael Calabret (’05/Hudson, Ohio) stopped 29 of 31 shots en route to the win.

 

P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 5,  Connecticut Jr. Rangers 2

Ryan Franks (’05/Roslyn, N.Y.) scored twice, and Robert Lachance (’04/West Hartford, Conn.) posted a goal and two assists in a big win for P.A.L. as they try to hold off the surging Mercer Chiefs in a battle for the top spot in the Atlantic Division. Ryan Kearney (’04/Kings Park, N.Y.) added three assists, and in net, Lukas Vejmelka (’04/Trebic, Czechia) was in net for the win.

 

Utah Outliers 5, Rock Springs Grizzlies 0 

Garrett Joss (’04/Whitby, Ont.) scored a hat trick and Marcus Ouellet (’04/Toronto, Ont.) made 25 saves for his fourth shutout of the season against the Grizzlies.
