Forward: Jiri Duda, Ogden Mustangs
Duda (‘05/Glen Ellyn, Ill.) finished November in a huge way, putting up three goals and two assists for five points as the Mustangs swept the rival Utah Outliers on Thanksgiving weekend. He improved to a 10-11-21 line in 20 games, placing third on the team in scoring so far this year.
Defense: Edvin Edlund, Rock Springs Grizzlies
Edlund (‘05/Ornskoldsvik, Sweden) continues to be a dynamic power source for a Grizzlies team that earned a sweep against Pueblo and has points in six of their last 10 games, including five wins. Edlund put up a 1-3-4 line against Pueblo, and he is the only defenseman leading his NCDC team in scoring with 16 points in 22 games.
Goaltender: Matthew MacArthur, Rock Springs Grizzlies
A three-year Tier II junior veteran, MacArthur (‘04/Barrington, Ill.) has been a huge addition to the Grizzlies, going 2-0 and stopping 42 of 43 shots over the past weekend against Pueblo. He got his first NCDC shutout on Nov. 29, stopping all 28 shots faced against Pueblo. He is currently 3-0 with a .970 save percentage.
Rookie: Will O’Donovan, Idaho Falls Spud Kings
O’Donovan (‘06/Cambridge, Minn.) joined the Spud Kings this year from the Windy City Storm AAA season and he’s been a top-notch forward since then. He registered three assists on the weekend to help the Spud Kings earn two key road wins in Casper, Wyoming. He currently has 13 points in 20 games.
