Connecticut Jr. Rangers 3, Mercer Chiefs 2

Connecticut pulled off a come-from-behind victory in the third period for a 3-2 win. Andrew Bellehumeur had the game-tying goal and an assist on Jextinian Sheffield’s GWG 27 seconds later. Wilmer Brundin stopped 60 of 62 shots for the victory, not surprisingly a season-high so far. It’s Mercer’s turn to go on the road as the Rangers host at 1:20 p.m. Sunday.
Junior Bruins 2, Islanders Hockey Club 1 (OT)
The Junior Bruins turned the beat around, as they were just one second from the loss. Shane Baker scored at the end of regulation to force overtime. He served it up and Easton Andrews smashed home the win against the rival Islanders Hockey Club for a 2-1 win. Garrett Simpson made 32 of 33 saves in the win. The rematch is Sunday at 2:10 p.m. at the Islanders’ home arena Skate 3. 
Rockets Hockey Club 4, Jersey Hitmen 3
Final: The Rockets Hockey Club held off a fierce Jersey Hitmen comeback attempt to leave the Ice Vault with a 4-3 victory. Paul Desaro’s second period goal stood up as the GWG. Darik Feasey scored a hat trick for the Hitmen to account for all of their goals. Both teams return to game action at the #BJBShootout on Friday in Marlborough, Mass.
South Shore Kings 5, Northern Cyclones 1
The Kings repeated their Game 1 score in Game 2 by defeating the Northern Cyclones 5-1 for a second straight day. Karim Gayfullin registered two goals in the victory. He also had an assist, and both Thomas Delfarno and Aiden Lindley each had two assists. Both teams will take on Atlantic Division foes at the BJB Shootout starting Friday.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 5, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 4 (SO)

The Knights closed out a 5-4 shootout victory against the host P.A.L. Jr. Islanders. William Jasmin had the #SOGWG, Eron James had two for WBS, and Ty Broad scored two for P.A.L. Knights and Islanders head to Massachusetts next for the #BJBShootout starting Friday. Former Premier Knight Tade Carman made 55 saves on 59 total shots, including two Jr. Islander shootout attempts.

 

Pueblo Bulls 7, Utah Outliers 3

Will Sinclair’s two goals in the first period helped to push the Pueblo Bulls to a 7-3 victory against the Utah Outliers. Daniil Chuparnov put up two goals in the Outliers’ third period comeback attempt. Jack Hanson and Nate Hinze both had three-point nights for Pueblo. Nikita Volski stopped 37/40 for the win. Pueblo hosts Ogden Friday-Saturday, and Utah has a Friday-Saturday home-and-home against the Rock Springs Grizzlies.

 

Ogden Mustangs 3, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 2 

The Mustangs pulled off the complete third period comeback, with goals from Sean Tyrie, Daniel Ellingson and Payton Struck, whose second of the year was the regulation GWG in a 3-2 W. Cameron Hollands made 26 saves on 28 shots for the win in net. The Mustangs next travel to Pueblo for a Friday-Saturday series. Watch all of the NCDC games on FloHockey.tv
